Routing the male part of the inlay Milling the female pockets. Milling the pockets. All pockets done.
Next stage was to rout the outside profiles. Front filled with acrylic paint and Back text as well. Front cleaned up. That was a pain to do.
Black filled engraving all cleaned up. Inserting the inlays, Secured with a tiny dab of super glue. All done. elevAte Key Fob Final
This is a project I made some time ago, thought I would just post the images for interest. They are all fairly self explanatory.
The cutter I used for the inlay's was a 0.5mm.  The inlay acrylic was first sized to 1.4mm before starting to profile the inlays.
I must say they were very fiddly to assemble.
